The Emancipated Addict

How to live a freer life. Emancipated Addict was created from the desire to be present and bring information about how to live a freer life.Child Within is not some fad or pop psychology.Child within is the only way to empower ourselves to stop living life in reaction to the past. We have been ignoring history and repeating it for centuries.

Is there a part of us that just understands that we have the potential to make a massive impact on our world? It's this deep gut feeling that you can't explain, but you feel it urging you forward.

And it seems that there are all kinds of well-intended people out there telling us that we either can or can't follow that inner urging to our own child within. Maybe we have voices in our life telling us that it'll never happen for us. Or maybe, we have someone telling us to "be realistic" and to "not get our hopes up". The voices of our past predicting our future.

Maybe we feel like we've tried everything to really give our gifts, spread our light, make a huge difference in our world - and no matter what we do, we just keep coming up short?

Or maybe we've tried all the right "spiritual things to do in our recovery" - and they seem to work for a moment - but life still seems to stay the same.

We know how that feels. For so long we would run to other people and ask them what we should do. we would chant, tap, drink green juice, go gluten free and hit the yoga mat - and while we would feel better for a moment, that real breakthrough wasn't coming.

In our gut, in our child within, in our heart we knew there was more - more understanding to give, more of an impact to make, more abundance to experience, more meditation to have and just more recovery freedom in our life.

We felt like we were on a hamster wheel. The first hamster wheel was the recovery hamster wheel - we could never break though to the level that we wanted, so we left and started a new form of liberated recovery. we also started a meditative practice.  soon, our meditative practice felt like the same old hamster wheel, except this time intuition gave us a nudge a spark of long forgotten genius moved us into a freeing meditation that broke us through the iced over barriers of our recovery into deep communion with our hidden self our child within and its freeing talents .
